ASR to employ loco drivers

16 (and will be again on Saturday June 19)

"LOCOMOTIVE DRIVERS

Australia Southern Railroad provides rail freight services from
Melbourne to Perth as well as bulk product services in South Australia
and Western Australia.

Australia Southern Railroad (ASR) is seeking the services of a number of
locomotive drivers to be based at our depot at Adelaide, or Pt Augusta
or Kalgoorlie.  Positions at Port Augusta and Adelaide are casual
positions, and positions at Kalgoorlie are permanent positions.

Interested applicants must be :-
- Able to meet required medical standards
- Flexible and highly motivated
- Able to work in a privatised rail environment independant of direct
supervision
- Currently or previously accredited in safeworking between Melbourne
and Perth (or part thereof)

Preference will be given to applicants who are :-
- Able to commence work within 4 weeks
- Have previous experience in rail freight operations
- Currently safeworking qualified on more than one system
