It was to have been connected to Cairns via Forsayth, but Croydon ran
out of gold about the time the railway arrived.

It runs from a bauxite mine to the port at Weipa. Operated by Comalco.

There was another isolated narrow gauge line somewhere in the vicinity
of Cooktown. Can anybody remember where it ran?
