Has enyone heard anything about the near headon at Maitland.I can't see how
it could have happened if the line had been set correctly .
I am an exdriver from Broadmeadow and have driven that section for 19
years.The coal train had Jack points and facing points to go through plus a
set of facing points ,if the the road was set so the train came on to the
down main then the passenger would have gone onto the Up weastern line.
Any comments
