Just a short message to let people know about a new video I have just
released - "Stories of Steam - Volume One". It is in the same format,
etc, as the "Diesel Diary" series of videos, but concentrating on
preserved steam locos in action around NSW.
Highlights of this this video are: 
# 5910 working through the Northern Tablelands in near freezing 
conditions on a long weekend tour to Armidale in June 1997. 
# a cab ride on The Flying Scotsman as it battles up the grades
through 
Sutherland in April 1989. 
# 3801 blasting through the Southern Highlands in July 1998 on a tour 
to Robertson where it meets and amalgamates with “The Cockatoo Run' 
being worked by SMR18. 
# the 1999 Thirlmere Festival of Steam which featured a visit by 3830 
and the double heading of locos 2705 & 3112. 

The video is already available from ther ARHS Bookshop in Redfern, and
from the RTM shop at Burwood next week.
