Having reread your previous posts and answering the one question that you
pose, which I believe is, what exhibits are readily usable or servicable
regardless of external condition. I pose the following questions back at you
as well as attemting to answer your previous question.
    1. As to whch exhibits are currently accredited under the rail safety
act uin NSW - nil, basically because none have been presented to date as
ther is no likelihood of us running until there is a line to run on.
    2. as to which locomotives can be readily started, run and used at short
notice, at least 2. these being 7008 and 4206. Other diesels are ready to be
used subject to servicing and track availability.
    3. As to condition of steam locomotives, Trevor has already stated that
most of the steam locomotives could be ready and run subject to boiler
inspections etc within hopefully 6 months. 5069, 3028, Juno to name three
are ready to go subject to inspection and accreditation.
The vast majority of rolling stock is available again subject to
accreditation and construction of the museum stores.
My question/s to you are
    a. What exactly do you expect Dorrigo to be.
    b. What qualifications do you have and experience do you have in the
rail preservation movement?
    c. It appears you may be a modeller. If Dorrigo had not existed how
would you be getting the data for your models?
    d. If Dorrigo is so bad where does that put the RTM. If you care to look
at what is on rotten row and realise that they have been GIVEN there
exhibits, where Dorrigo has had to pay for theirs. Which Museum for the BULK
of their collections has a collection in better overall condition?
    e. All museums have a limited finite amount of participating working
members. Are you a participating working member in any Museum? If you are it
would be interesting to know?
Cheers
