Checking out "The A7 Era", page 148/49 shows S317 after colliding head on with
X33 in 1967.  It was very badly damaged and extensively rebuilt.  Then on
17/6/82 the crew were killed when it collided with the rear of the disabled
"Spirit Of Progress" at Barnawartha.  Again it was very badly damaged, and
didn't return until 1985.
