Penrith Upgrade

Seen this morning on Penrith 1 and 2 platforms
barricades erected prior to work to be done at
Penrith station.  The $8 million upgrade is intended
to be finished prior to the Olympic Games, Penrith
being an Olympic Venue.

With the speed at which "Platform 0" at Lidcombe is
being constructed I wonder if Penrith will also be finished
with such haste.  Ashfield's upgrade meanwhile languishes
as a slow, slow construction site.
