SA. Track Damaged and a Derailment

The line between Broken Hill and Peterborough
was washed out by Floods on Thursday ,Story
has it that the line was closed due to Ballast
Wash out , However a Ballast train travelled on 
the closed section and One  engine and several
Ballast wagons were Derailed ( A slight Miss
understanding) so I was told by track repair crews
and to make matters worse Transfields Ballast
Packing  Machine broke down at Peterborough

Indian Pacific passengers are being Bussed to
Broken Hill today and on Tuesday passengers
will be bussed from Adelaide to Peterborough
to connect with the IP.

Looks like another load of very unhappy Passengers
having to wait for Hours at Peterborough without
Refreshments . Toilets  . or Seating.
