4833 will be the motive power for the Cockatoo Run for most of this year as 18
requires a lot of work to its springs and motion, and its tyres are badly worn.
It may be ready late in the year. The train will not be running from Nov 1999 to
Mar 2000 but there may be some evening dinner trips during this period.
The RTM is also planning to have a steam loco in service by June/July this year.
It has not been decided if it will be 3526, 3642 or 5910 as they all require
work to return to service.
