Personally, I have made the mistake twice of doing this journey.. Although
the effort that went into building this line is an engineering feat, the
actual journey is extremely overated. Without a seat on the right side of
the train going up to Kuranda, the whole experience is only memorable by
the waste of time spent!

Far better to go by Skyrail, and be certain of seeing the scenery!
