Hebburn 2-6-2T #4 entered service late 1955 or early 1956. ARHS Bulletin Dec
1955 has photo of it just landed on dock in Newcastle.
WAGR V class 2-8-2s entered service between April 1955 and November 1956.
NSWGR 6042 entered service Jan 1957.
I don't know if this means that some V's or 60's were imported after Hebburn
#4... they might have sat around for a while in Australia before entering
service.
Like you I would like to know the fate of Hebburn #4.... there is not a lot
of documentation of this oddity.
