Hi,
I have a book titled "cessnock and beyond" by Bob Driver. On on of the
pages it has a photo of a stephenson tank locomotive (built 1956?) which
claims was the last imported new steam locomotive into australia. The
book says it had cylinder problems -what happped to this almost new
(then) locomotive - was it scrapped or returned to its makers.
