86's

For all those readers interested in the use of 86-class units, 8614 + 841 worked
a down freight (essentially a load of louvre vans, NRC and FC, plus empty
container wagons) through Springwood at 0637 this morning (Wednesday). Of note
was the fact that the train worked via the Up Main through Springwood station
due to the terminating Tangarra still being on the Down platform.
This would appear to have been a very early 1837, or an extra to Blayney.

The Blayney freight, 8162, ran "as normal" this afternoon, with an 82 on the
lead, through Blacktown at around 1734.
