Terrorgraph AGAIN

This mornings Daily Terrorgraph has an article on the fares for the new
Airport line. Fares from Central will be as follows:

Station - Single/Return

Green Square - $3.50/$6.50
Mascot - $3.70/$6.90
Airport (both terminals) - $9.00/$12.00

An airport weekly will cost $28.50. Travelling from any other station will
have a surcharge of $6.80 on a single fare and $7.60 on a return fare.

The article does mention that pensioner excursion tickets will not include
access to the new stations, but it does not say whether holders of these
tickets will pay the same surcharge or if there will be a concession
surcharge.

According to the article, the link will open in May.

Also on the same page was a report that the 11.57am Lithgow train failed to
stop at Blacktown - it stopped at Doonside to let people already on the
train off. No mention of what they did for those at Blacktown wishing to
catch it. The next trains - the 1302 and the 1411 - both go to Katoomba
only, so the next train travelling past Katoomba would have been the 1432, a
lengthy wait.
