Re: Return of Its Academic!

When I lived in Cunnamulla the locals always claimed that there was only two
covered stations in Queensland, Cunnamulla and Normanton.

Very impressive station in Cunnamulla, unfortunately now only used for
freight (from Brisbane via Roma and Charleville) and the car park is used by
the bus that connects with the Westlander to/from Charleville, although just
before I left town (about 2 years ago) there was talk the bus being diverted
away from the station to the town centre (about a 1km walk from the station)
to make it more convienient for the few passengers who travelled there. As
an indication the bus connection was generally run by a 16 seater Toyota
Coaster - in two years I don't think I ever saw it full.
