Re: [VIC] K190 to South Gippsland



Unfortunately, it's not going to happen. Freight Victoria prohibited the
move due to track condition through the KooWeeRup swamp area. While the
chooks tiptoed out the other weekend, a long coupled wheelbase engine was
not considered appropriate to run over the line. This is unfortunate as both
SRV and SGR had gone to a great deal of effort to send the steam down to
Gippsland, but no-one had thought to actually confirm the condition of the
track would allow it.
