Low enough not to distrurb the track or overhead in the vicinity of
the accident according to reports from railworkers in this forum.

Low enough for a resident adjacent to the crash scene to comment on
ABC radio that he heard another train approachining slowly.

Low enough for the driver to get out of the cab and half way down the
car from a estimated 100 metre sighting distance, according to several
passenger "eyewitness" statements reported in the press.

We don't have a numerical value to put on "low" as yet, but presumably
that will become known during the enquiry.
