> if so, what was its number?Yes, it became W266. It was on S-Gauge for some years then was converted to BG and was based in Geelong for a long period of time. It turned up in Ballarat in 1976 but as I left Ballarat in 1976 for South Africa then went to Melbourne then Perth I don't know long it resided there.
It was unique from the point of view that it retained the NSWGR 'Hurricane' air horns instead of the horrible squawk preferred by VR. Other than that it was a typical Wally- underpowered and unreliable.
