Re: 3801 - IT'S BLACK ..... WHY????



My understanding is that the tube plates were designed to the then current
boiler code, which necessitated a recalculation of the boiler pressure, and
that this was a pragmatic decision at the time, rather than a 'clever dick'
stuff up. I will have a chat to our esteemed boiler inspectors at Eveleigh
on the weekend and get the story straight!
