Chubb Security patrols on CityRail

Today, I saw a train guard at Ashfield refuse two Chubb officers from
patrolling his train. I spoke to the Chubb guys and they reckon this
guard was the first since they started patrols to refuse them. Chubb
patrol monday to friday after 1pm to catch schoolies who graffiti.

Chubb reckon they had another incident with a driver but he changed his
mind the next day. This is in conflict with a trade union organiser who
reckons all train guards delegates have agreed to work extra security
and take on revenue duties.

As part of the CSM (customer service management agreement), where
station staff are going to lose their career paths/jobs (those ASM/SM
who are on a fixed roster at small station will go forever) and will add
revenue on trains and barriers to their 'labour intensive' duties.

So really nothing has changed in regard to Chubb, but heaps of lost
conditions for government workers. I wonder if the army will be next?
'the Packer/Murdoch regiment' with motto = "money first".
