P18

I have not seen P18 for some time now, until last night at Spencer
Street station, when it was put on the back of a push pull H set, and
P17 leading.  It is still in V/Line colors, and has a bit of black
spray paint on the font of the long end, but where has this loco been
hiding for so long?
Another what is the new standard gauge siding that is going in at
Laverton, where the line branches off to go through Altona?  The way
that sleepers have been layed, and ground work done the freight will be
going in the direction of Adelaide.
