The Rail was drooped of in the North end of the loop around 2 weeks

as indicated by previous posts.
Today, Tuesday the 17th of August, earth works have just begun in clearing
the
area where the lengthened part of the loop will lie.
A grader, backhoe and a roller are
on site. The ground looks very boggy which is a direct result
of heavy rains over the
previous weekend.
Any idea what the expected completion date for the lengthening of the loop is?
As works have begun, when will ballast trains be running and any other
associated.
work trains for this and other loops in the North East of Victoria?
Do GNRS have the contract for the ballast trains as they did with the
rail and are we
likely to se 22 or 27 in the North East?
