This new mechanism puts all the doors in sync though and is probably less
prone to problems--the fully pneumatic controls can really piss you off when
there's some hole in the airways (air leaking) that makes the doors keep on
hissing unless the doors are opened again (and stay open!), and sometimes
that may be many stations before that door is opened again.
