Re: Signalling in Victoria

: NO. I have not ever seen the 4 points operated as 4 individual points
: (doesn't mean it hasn't happened, and would only happen in Victoria if it
: did <g>

: if you were looking at the middle of the double slip, the left hand 2
: points work in conjunction with each other (classed as 1 point) and the
: right hand points work with each other.

: They are usually counted as 2 points only, not 4, and would only have 2
: lock bars (if necessary)

That is what make these ones interesting the levers to operate the
double slip are:
Points: 52,51,38 (with 52 being used at different ends, not the same end)
Lock Bars: 50, 48 (also works with points 49) and 54.

_____________

Straight through no points needed, lockbar for up trains: 50

\
 \
  \________

Up trains from 3 or 4 to up line: points 38, lockbar 48

\
 \
  \
   \

Down trains from down line to no 3 or 4, points 52 (operates both ends)
lock bar: 54

___

    \
     \
Down trains from down line to no 2, points 51, lockbar 54
