State Rail and its predecessors fielded impressive model railway
exhibits for many years at the show. I still remember the O scale stud
contact powered setup from the late 60s which impressed me for its
representation of NSW prototype at a time when such a thing was rare.

I also remember a setup from the Easter Show of 1956 which showed the
underground part of the suburban network in very small scale. It may not
have had moving train models but I do remember something of this type.
Does anyone have any recollection of this?
