BTW NRC already run a Melbourne - Townsville service marketed as "NQ
Direct." Containers travel on MB2 to Brisbane and are lifted across to
a waiting QR narra gauge service. Total time in Brisbane is about four
hours. Similar services run in the reverse direction carriying fruit,
etc from NQ (& FNQ) to Melbourne markets.
