Using this point of view, we should say that we should convert all the sitting cars
to self propelled railcars, because if the 81 class seizes a traction motor, 3,000
HP of power is useless if the loco can't be moved.

Seriously, how often would you get a screwed journal?  Not often enough to warrant
putting gen sets under every carriage!
