To convert a bus roadway (transitway in spin doctor speak) to light rail
whould require the bus only roadway to be closed to all traffic for
eighteen months and cost almost 2/3 rds of the original bus roadway
cost, unless rails are laid from the start, and there is no chance of
that.  If you live in Parramatta get ready for more pollution and more
congestion and the continuation of second rate public transport.
