AFAIK R711 did come to Melbourne on Tues.17.11, hauling carriages.
Today (Wed.18.11) it was at Newport Workshops (was it weighed there, or at
Kensington?).
On Thurs.19.11 it will make a test trip Melbourne - Warrnambool - Geelong.
On Fri.20.11, it will run Geelong - Melbourne.
On Sat.21.11 there will be the formal launch: on a morning train to
Warrnambool, and a late afternoon up.
