The "Last"(?) 3801/SMR 18 Amalgamation of Trains @ Robertson Delayed.

CS66/CS12 (amalgamated trains of 3801 and SMR 18 from Robertson to
Unanderra) was delayed at Summit Tank by an Slip Detector Alarm for
approximately 3 hours yesterday. CS66 (3801) originally due at Sydney
Terminal at 18:16, arrived 21:00 approx.

This amalgamation of these trains, which was a regular occurrence,
whenever a 3801 LTD train was running the
Sydney-MossVale-Robertson-Unanderra-Sydney circuit and met up with the
Cockatoo train at Robertson, was meant to be the last, following the
announcement that the Cockatoo Train would cease operation on 24
November, BUT I believe a last minute 3 year reprieve has been given,
but details are sketchy as I send this.
