If Chris Stratton's info is correct, then hood type units with two cabs
carry the designation
J as do the box cab (double ended) units.

The dual cab, 3000hp, 12 cyl 710G engined, 6 axle unit carries designation
JT42C.

Is this the description of the WA "S" class (2100 series)?
