3830 is Alive and Well

To those people who lamented that 3830 was wrapped in cotton wool
in a large packing crate, fear not.

It hauled a 3801 Ltd charter to Bundanoon and return today, with
10 cars / 460 tons.   On a clear and cold morning in the southern
highlands, it looked (and sounded) magnificent.

The only problem was we weren't actually expecting it, and 
no-one seemed to have prior knowledge that it was running!
