The Victorian Auditor General released a report on the PTCs performance on
Thursday. It can be found at

It is quite an interesting read - despite recent publicity about the
independence of the Auditor General since the government tried to make
changes to the department, the report seems to be quite fair in praising the
PTC for achievements yet chiding it in areas it needs to fix and suggesting
ways to fix it. Another point of interest were comments openly made by some
PTC divisions that investment and improvements had been put on hold pending
privatisation, particularly Met Tram.
