Re: Transrapid Maglev



The trick would be to franchise someone to provide an on-board GSM cell and
provide connection to the main phone network over a specialised data link
(type not known by me but surely not hard) that runs along the trackside and
links to the car. It could be billed like a 1900 number as a surchage on
usage. It would need to be someone separate from the three mobile operators
as they do not roam onto each others networks.
Sort of a hi tech version of the leaky coax that runs through the Sydney
harbour Tunnel to provide connectivity while you are submersed.
