Metcard Validation

This morning I was confronted by a PTC staff member at the station.  
I had walked through the gate without validation my ticket (not barriers)
He folled he up the platform a little way a asked to see my ticket, so
I showed him (as you have to) and then he insist I go back and validate
it (the train was comming) I told him I wasn't and he started going on
about how you have to.  I said I have checked and you don't so long
as you have a valid ticket, at this point knowing I was right he just 
walked off.  While this was happening severial people slipped through
with the other two PTC people too busy watching me (along with 1/2 the
station)

I will just point out before all the abuse I have a valid Monthly 123
concession ticket valid till may 26 1998.  I also have a valid concession
card and do not travle with out a valid ticket ever.
