That didn't last long. 11 years? Some of the trackwork of recent times 
seems really to have been done on the cheap. On my trip last 
August/September I saw numerous examples of relatively recent in-concrete
track badly cracked. Among the worst was out at Footscray where some of 
the Droop Street concrete has come totally away. There were a lot of 
cracks in the most recent East Burwood extension, too.

Do they water down the concrete these days to save money?
