I am surprised PRR crews prefer the NT.

The main reason for the NT's being set aside at Port Lincoln was their atrocious
cab layout.

Designed to be a "standard loco" (the design team labelled them as "SAM",s a
joint venture between Sulzer, Associated Electrical and Metro-Vic) the cab area
was relatively poorly laid out.

The Crews atr plinkon had to squeeze themselves into the operators seat, And
cope with the brake and selector stands shaking violently when under load. Not to
mention numerous biomechanical hazards!

Other than that, they were reknowned for thier pulling power and reliabilty.
