Ghan Preservation Society Alice Springs has been running NSU58 since about 
1989. So Steamtown is the third NSU to re-enter service under a preservation 
group. I can't say private operator, because 9 of them were used by the 
contractor who pulled up the C.A.R. back in the 1980s.
