My experiences in travelling on the best Indonesian rail travel class
have been far worse than my worst experiences in long distance rail
travel in Australia.  If I wasn't a rail fan I wouldn't have
persisted.

While Australian railways could do better in the service stakes than
the are now, there any many places in the world where rail travel is
much more gruelling experience than it is here.
