Brisbane Light Rail Proposals

Just had a look at the Brisbane Light rail site - refer

I had a look at the site some time back and suggested that they update
their links to other sites, particularly the ones overseas which were
totally inappropriate - the Singapore Cable Car for instance, which doesn't
run on rails, then a heap of other crappy replica 'false' trolleys, which
are buses dressed up to look like trams.  They obviously just used a search
engine to look up 'trolley' and didn't bother to check out the sites for
themselves.  Probably consultants being paid $1000 a day!  I gave them some
really appropriate ones to link -like the new systems in San Diego, Hong
Kong, Croydon (London) but they didn't reply, and now that section of their
site isn't working.

Now they are having exhibitions of proposed routes throughout Brisbane,
public comment is invited by 18 March - not a lot of time if they want
informed input!  Then they'll probably sit on the comments for 6 months
with nothing done.

As an ex-public servant, now I've got that off my chest I'll leave you all
alone for a day or two.
