This thread is an absolute invitation for personal opinions of the most
outrageous kind. Here are mine.

There have been a variety of rail magazines over the years dating back to
Railway Transportation. I think that Rail Australia was the best I have seen
for variety and presentation. I don't know which one you produce, Nic but
Railway Digest is quite good and its biggest limitation is its NSW focus
which it appears to be trying to break out of.

The question is: what do people want to read in a railway magazine? I am
interested in news and analysis. However, I am sure that there are people
who are into number taking and colour scheme critiques. I don't know how you
cater for both. Perhaps the Internet?
