The staff would have been in Picton Box as the 59 would have left it there
when it went out and it would have been there ready for the return working of
the 59 to Thirlmere.

Before Freightcorp would have agreed to undertake such a move on behalf of the
owner the locomotive would have been subject to an inspection and all repairs
would have to be completed prior to the move.

I'm sure the museums manager would have looked into that. Also the same former
owner sold his 7308 that was also previously at Thirlmere for a large profit
and I would hope that he has given the museum some of that money.

Stay tuned to this ng. No doubt we will find out more.
