Hooray - someone is finally listening - seats that can be altered to
the face the direction of travel (one can only hope the seats don't
feel like one is sitting on a concrete block) !!!!

"New trains for Games"
NSW's fourth generation suburban trains will be built at Newcastle
creating 170 new jobs, the SRA announced last night.
The long awaited train, initially dubbed The Olympian, will be on the
tracks by 2000.
SRA CEO Simon Lane said Clde Engineering would build the trains and
maintain them for 15 years at a cost of $220 million.
The trains which follow the Tangaras, will have improved air
conditioning, air conditioning and security features and will provide
a quieter ride.
They will also have seating that can be altered to suit the direction
of the train.
