Re: Mildura Pass via Daylesford 1941???

Castlemaine (see Oct.93 RNV leading article).  Anthony's rumour is possibly
quite untrue, or is possibly misdated by 10 years: perhaps the event took
place in Aug.1931.  The suggestion that an A2 followed the train seems
unlikely: there would be an A2 at the far end working the southbound
Mildura train, an exchange would be possible.  Maryborough loco depot was
large enough to supply a spare loco.
