The Railmotor Society decided to put up a new standard for CPH railmotors to the DOT
.This includes the new windscreens and those awfull strobe lights and dataloggers.
The DOT had no option but to accept this higher standard but now every other CPH
operator must come up tp the new standard. The Railmotor Society was in such a hurry
to start running after the Cowan disaster that they thought the only way was to set
such a high standard. Maybe they hope no one else will match it.
