First of all this is a signal sequence that would never and has never occured
in real life. (Remove the Y/R and you have a signal sequence that appears in
real life)

Secondly if you got a Y/R you would be a fool to pass it at track speed (unless
the blocks were very long, in which case you wouldn't get this signal sequence)
because you would have to be able to stop short of the next signal.
