Re: Pass Locos



 Presumably, because the 81 class has a 6600 ltr fuel tank and can make to Broken Hill without
the need for refuelling.

Also the 81 class  has cab air conditioning and a fridge.

Essentials on the Main West don't you think.

 Also the 82 class are not permitted to run pass's because of a problem where the diaphram on the
pass cars may uncouple the auto.
