I have some old figures, these may (would) have
changed.

Pearlah bank :-
NJ & 830 1180 tonnes
NJ double 1120 tonnes
830 double 1230 tonnes

The NJ's had higher final drive gear ratios than the
830, and could easily draw too much traction motor
current at low speeds, hence the "discrepancy".

Out on other sections the loads were :-
NJ & 830 1300 tonnes
NJ double 1200 tonnes
830 double 1400 tonnes
I do not have any figures for the NT's but they would
have been equal to the 830 class, in fact better.

Come on Nic, you know this better than me, especially
the "double" NT that was only running with the lead
unit on the big "jump up".
