Loads southbound are restricted by a section of track known as the pearlah Bank
(btn Wannila and Coomunga)

Max Load over this section is
running south running North
830 - 750t 725t
NJ - 675t 650
NT - 700t 700

With multiples up to three.

The biggest southbound train known was 4/830 for 3000t run 15-1-90
A singl NT has hauled twn NT load up Pearlah without any problems (trailing unit
had shut down without crew knowing!)

Heaviest trailing load permissible for any section is;
nj -1350t
830 1150t
NT 1300

North bound Warramboo to Kyancutta
