The 4D used to have a tape deck attached to the PA as well. I remember
when they made the promotional trips as part of Moomba whichever year it
was, they played the annoying Moomba theme over and over again and
crapped on about how this train was the latest and greatest (latest and
greatest white elephant as it turned out). I presume the ultimate use
for the tape deck was prerecorded announcements for stations or annoying
Muzak.
